
Admissions committee (UNLV-SDM) Chair, Appointed 7/21 Term Expires 7/24 – appointed by the Dean. The Committee shall select qualified applicants and recommend them for admission to the School.
Promotion and Tenure committee (UNLV-SDM), Member, Appointed 7/21 Term Expires 7/24 – appointed by the Dean. The Committee shall consider faculty applications in accordance with the conditions set forth in the Promotion and Tenure document of the School and Policies of UNLV and the Board of Regents.
Academic Faculty Peer Review Committee (UNLV-SDM), Elected 7/21 Term Expires 7/24. The committee shall assess any faculty member’s appeal from faculty annual evaluation in the case where a faculty member disagrees with their annual evaluation and has submitted the appropriate written request.
Research Committee (UNLV-SDM) The purpose of the committee is to create liaisons across the UNLV community to facilitate research activity and to review and provide feedback on research activities, issues, proposals, and potential funding opportunities within the SDM Office of Research. The Committee shall be charged with development of the strategic plan for research efforts and recommend to the Dean allocation of research funds.

Dr. Kingsley has served as a volunteer faculty judge at the UNLV Graduate College – Graduate Professional Student Association research forum in 2020, 2019. 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2010.
Professional Service
American Association for Dental Research (AADR). Dr. Kingsley is an active member and Faculty Advisor for the UNLV-SDM chapter of the AADR – National Student Research Group (NSRG) . The AADR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to driving dental, oral and craniofacial research to advance health and well-being through discovery and dissemination. The AADR is the largest Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).
American Dental Education Association (ADEA). Dr. Kingsley is an active member and former Section Chair for Oral Biology and the Gay-Straight Alliance. As the sole national organization representing academic dentistry, the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is the voice of dental education. ADEA fosters interconnected community experiences that enable members to meet their individual goals while leveraging their collective strength.
